There are many signs of low self esteem some more obvious than others.

Perfectionism puts enormous pressure on ourselves to do things perfectly with a deep seated fear of making a mistake thinking this means something bad about us. We need to see it,s okay to make mistakes. That it;s part of being a human being to make mistakes and that it doesn,t mean anything about us if and when we make a mistake.
7). Self hatred.
hatred just means we have a thought that we hate ourselves. When we
hate ourselves nothing in our lives seems to work. We can change this
by using affirmations. For example: I Dave love, accept and approve
of myself. See self esteem affirmations.
Pessimism is feeling negative about everything. There is an unspoken expectation that nothing is going to work out. Again, using affirmations helps to change this mindset into a positive one. For example: I Dave feel good about myself and my life. See self esteem affirmations.
